Child Care
In-home child care services refer to child care provided within the child’s own home or at site (hotel or office). This type of child care offers a more personalized and familiar environment for the child. Here are some common types of in-home childcare services along with brief descriptions:
Babysitter
a babysitter is someone who provides short-term care for children within their own home. They may be hired for a few hours or occasional evenings when parents or guardians need temporary supervision for their child. Babysitters can help you with housework, lead children in fun activities, keep children’s living and play areas tidy, and care for infants, including feeding, bathing, diapering, and dressing.
Tutoring
Tutors will provide academic support and homework assistance to your children. They will help your child clarify and review concepts taught in class, explain processes, and help students solve specific problems while giving them subject-specific guidance and reinforcement.
After School
Childcare providers will assist with childcare before parents return home from work. Their typical responsibilities are to pick up children from school, assist with homework, provide entertainment, help with meal preparation, care for special needs, and supervise activities.
Overnight
Overnight service caregivers perform a similar service to babysitters, except their primary responsibility is putting the kids to bed and overseeing their well-being till the next morning.
Speech Therapy
A speech therapist specializes in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating children with communication and swallowing disorders. They work with your child to improve their speech, language, and overall communication skills.
